Broccoli Cheese Fettuccine Sauce
So this wasn't my fave, but it wasn't bad. My family ate it. It's all a part of the "try new recipes" kick I have been on this last week. The recipe called it Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce, but the overall flavor was Broccoli Cheese so I changed it. It may just have been different from what I was expecting. Here's to mixing it up with new food at the dinner table.
1 can Broccoli Cheese soup
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. basil
3 fresh plum tomatoes, coarsely chopped
1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
3 cups hot cooked fettuccine
In saucepan mix soup, milk, basil, tomatoes, and cheese. Over medium heat, heat to a boil cook over low heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Toss with fettuccine.
