1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 c. rolled oats
1 package chocolate chips (2 c.)
Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.

I made these the other day and they were DELICIOUS!!
So my question to you is do you normally cook with milk chocolate chips or semi sweet?
I use both, but I probably favor the milk chocolate chips. I think some recipes just need the semi sweet (like pumpkin bars). But my mom always used semi sweet growing up, so I will always have a special place in my heart (and my stomach) for cookies with semi sweet chocolate chips. What do you use?
